Lithotripsy: In general, lithotripsy is very effective. Incomplete stone fragmentation can lead to pain and bleeding several days after the procedure. There is also the risk of injury to the kidney itself. If you are having continual bleeding after the procedure, it would be best to contact your physician and determine the proper treatment.
