Talk to your doc: Make sure you are on drugs that are not causing weight gain. A lot of diabetes drug can cause this. See a specialist if needed but i agree with dr. Koch, lifestyle changes is very important. See a dietician and an exercise specialist if you think you need help in this aspect of care. Good luck.

Low starch and sugar: Lower your intake of sugar and starches significantly and increase your intake of lean protein and plant and fish based fat. Avoid fried food. Also start any type of exercise at 15 mins daily and increase it weekly by 10 mins. You can also see an obesity medicine specialist around where you live.
