Settings?: Need to have the settings and impedance checked. Maybe the battery is dead, maybe a lead has migrated. Maybe the nerve is saturated and the settings need to be changed. Maybe you have a uriinary tract infection. Need to be persistent and question your physician and if not satisfied, seek additional help. The neuromodulator used to work, figure out why it doesn't now.

Second opinion: If you have an implanted device that is not functioning and you want it removed, then you have the right to do so assuming that there would be no undue danger in doing so. You could seek another opinion from a surgeon with expertise in this regard. Hope this helps!
