Must go with mom: They probably think that it would be medically futile with no hope of any quality of life after an arrest, but you should go with mom's wishes, of you are sure that is what she wanted

Scared?: If your mom is healthy & active, then it is unclear why this recommendation is being repeated to her. If she is frail or has a terminal illness then the question is more how she wants to die since CPR doesn't determine if you live or not, just how you die(since CPR doesn't stop the terminal illness or natural end of life for the heart). It is more a question on how one dies if near end-of-life.
