However you like: There is no correct position to sleep in after a lumbar microdiscectomy. Whatever position is most comfortable to you. The more important aspect of sleep is how you get in and out of bed. Be sure not to strain or excessively twist your torso.

Hopefully well!: Just avoid sleeping on your stomach otherwise any way is ok that is comfortable.
