A member asked:

Can gerd cause chest discomfort? what are gerd symptoms? how to relieve it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: As gerd is gastro esophageal reflux, or excessive acids that are being produced in your stomach and refluxing, or coming up into your esophagus causing pain discomfort and burning. Lots more could be said but the short answer is see your gastroenterologist and get a proper diagnosis, find out the causes and then they can probably take care of it. Good luck.
