Bronchitis?: Well, it's hard to tell with this vague description but per your history I would think you are having an acute bronchitis 2/2 smoking or just complications of GERD. Stop smoking, get your GERD under control. See your provider.

Stop Smoking: Chronic Bronchitis from smoking will cause these symptoms, Also makes you more prone to Sinusitis,2 and GERD can also contribute to the mucus production and Chest tightness. IBS is separate problem Commonly seen in people under stress. Try to Quit smoking and Cough, Mucus production , sinusitis, GERD will improve
