Localized insect rxn: You are describing a local reaction to insect venom. It is uncomfortable, but not harmful nor does it suggest any increased likelihood of future generalized (anaphylactic) reaction.

I'd go with : The allergic, apply ice, elevate foot, take benadryl! if no reduction in swelling, you may want to go to the er, you may need antibiotics as well.
