Tantrum: Tantrums are common in two year olds. It's the only way they know to deal with frustration. The best (and only) way i know of to deal with tantrum is to turn your back and ignore it. Any reinforcement, whether it's negative like yelling, or positive like soothing, is likely to get you more tantrums. Turn your back, and give her attention after she calms down.

You have to ignore : It consistently for it go away. Have family meal earlier with her. Stop tv/videos an hour before a consistent bedtime & routine including toothbrushing, reading, kissing. Give her limited choices of book, pj's. Calmly state, "it's bedtime, " then don't talk. Any attention you give the crying like yelling from another room, making eye contact, reinforces the tantrum. It gets worse, then goes away.
