Both are possible: To diagnose potential diabetes, screen with a hgb-a1-c, and more definitively, a 4 hr glucose tolerance test. Many disorders may seem similar on the surface, but a diagnosis is based on several criteria which separates one from the other. Best to spend some time with your doctor and learn what you do possess, and find the most effective treatments. Have him/her address your areas of uncertainty.

Easy: The test for diabetes is simple - it is just a blood test. It is important not to attribute everything you experience to ms. However, it is possible your doctor has already done some additional testing and has ruled-out diabetes. Many patients are not aware of all the tests that are run when they go to the lab and have blood drawn. Just ask your doctor.
