How concerned should i be if there is a hint of blood in my bowl movement ? and where do i go if i don't have insurance because i can't afford it?

Depends on hist/age.: A small amount of blood w/o abdominal pain or fever in an otherwise healthy 39yo is usually not an emergency and often due to benign causes such as fissures or hemorrhoids. It depends greatly on physical exam, medical & family history, and diet. I would seek medical care within 2 wks if bleeding continues or sooner if bleeding worsens.
