A member asked:

Is there a new diet for cystinuria?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Have not seen it...: Dietary guidelines for cystinuria patients include: eating only small amounts of protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, sausages, eggs, cheese, and soybeans; eating foods with a low-protein content, such as fruits, vegetables, salads, and cereals; avoiding additional salt during meals; limiting canned foods, smoked foods, and pickled foods; plus increasing dietary fiber intake.
