Depends : If your nose draws significant attention away from your eyes then correcting it through rhinoplasty can be helpful. The best rhinoplasty results are achieved in noses that are either very wide, large or crooked pulling focus onto the nose. If there are other issues these need to be addressed as well. Physical or psychological, your feeling "ugly" needs to be addressed.

Wise question!: You are right to wonder if you will be happy after rhinoplasty surgery. Your nose can be changed, but your self-esteem may not change with your nose, and you could still feel "ugly" even with a splendid result. See several abps-certified plastic surgeons for consultation and advice, and if consultation with a psychologist or psychiatrist is advised, heed that advice! surgery does not fix attitudes.

Depends: Rhinoplasty to improve a feature that bothers you may well help your overall self esteem, but may not address your underlying concerns. See a psychiatrist first if you are depressed or fixated on the issue prior to considering surgery.

Computer imaging: Consult with a rhinoplasty specialist. With computerized imaging you can visualize what the alterations will do for your appearance to see if this is what you want to achieve. A surgeon also uses this as a planning tool. Most facial plastic surgeons offer rhinoplasty as a common procedure.
