Will medicaid cover dental work (filling in cavities and wisdom teeth removal)?

Depends: Each state determines what medicaid will cover for the citizens in that state. In my state, medicaid covers cleanings, extractions and two fillings a year. You can call your local department of human services or check out this link: http://www.Cda.Org/page/adult_access_to_medicaid_dental_services_(denti-cal).

Varies by state: All states are different as far as medicaid coverage for dental treatment. In arkansas, medicaid coverage for children is very good. Adult medicaid does not cover as many treatments and only a small financial allowance per year.

Location matters: Medicaid services are state services. With this said, every state is different. Most adult dentistry through medicaid is very minimal in its coverage. Call your provider to know the specifics for your particular needs.
