See a neurologist: It is possible that you have migraine or cluster headaches both of which can be quite intense. I suggest seeing a neurologist or a headache specialist. In the meantime, excedrine migraine med may help. Keep a headache log: when you get it, where, what you eat, when you sleep, what food/odor set it off etc...These will help you manage it. Good luck.
