Only with antibiotic: Some antibiotics that are prescribed for the infection of a tooth before having a root canal can cause sun sensitivity. If you are on them, check with the pharmacist for your specific antibiotic. However, having a root canal does not have any contraindication for going in the sun. Always wear your sunscreen anyway, anytime you're in the sun!

No direct connection: No direct connection to the root canal treatment itself. Just don't overdo your exposure.
