What is prolactine hormone?and how it is affecting pregnancy?

Hormone -lactation: Prolactin : pro-for and lact-milk, so prolactin is hormone for milk production in mammals. It is secreted by pituitory gland . So it is high level during prgnancy -as preparation of breast for breast milk and it is high in women who are breast feeding the baby.It's role in man is not clear.
