Benefits of wheatgrass?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's a vegetable: Wheatgrass can be considered a vegetable, and has chlorophyll, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. There are "claims" about the "health benefits" of wheatgrass ranging from providing supplemental nutrition to having unique curative properties. Haven't seen any scientific studies on humans to prove the claims, but it should be nutritious if eaten as a vegetable part of a balanced diet.
