Unknown: there is almost no credible research evidence to support the various health benefits claimed by believers in wheatgrass. Many claims are made, and it is impossible to assess them given our current knowledge. It is generally safe, but some can have nausea, headaches, or hives. Don't use it during pregnancy. It is certainly not a miracle cure for anything. If you decide to take it, use moderation.
