Probably not: While silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) may have some anti-fungal and anti-viral effectiveness, it is generally weak and there are other better topical antimycotic (antifungal) agents such as Clotrimazole for treatment of vaginal yeast infections. Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) is primarily used in burns or open wounds to prevent bacterial infections from staph or strep.
