Depends: So much depends on things other than your age! it is important to know what type of surgery you will be having. A heart surgery will carry more risk than a minor skin surgery. Also, your overall health plays a major role in contributing to the risk of surgery. Talk about your individual risk with your surgeon and ask to speak with an anesthesiologist as well.
