Medicare help: Medicare in most cases, helps with in home nurse help after major surgeries, depending on benefits. Only way to know for sure is to call & get it in writing. Best of luck!

For wounds and drain: Sometimes Medicare will have a nurse come to assist with wound care and drains. Sometimes you can also get a caregiver for about $20/hr.
