Very brief: Sharp inspiratory pain tha is gone by the time you read this, may never know the cause, but could be a burst "bleb" that resolves. Many report this, few are of consequence. Persistent pain on breathing is called 'pleurisy' and may indicate a wide variation of things all requiring you to see a doctor and get further testing.
