See below: Since you have coronary artery disease at a young age, your risk for another stent certainly is higher than in an idividual without coronary disease. Risk factor management is critical to prevent other events(secondary prevention). Close follow up with your cardiologist is essential.

If you've had 1: Stent you have a higher chance of needing another. You can reduce this risk by reducing & treating risk factors. As for your cholesterol...A bit unusual unless the increase was related to an increase in hdl. Congrats on weight loss!
