How can carbohydrate intake affect mood and appetite?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

effec onblood sugar: It does by effect on blood sugar when you consume carbs it gives a spurt of glucose in your blood and your blood sugar goes up, that causes the pancreas to release Insulin to bring the sugar down to normal and it can cause blood sugar to go below normal as a reaction to Insulin release and causes hypoglycemia and that can make you hungry and affect your mood, than you eat carbs again&causes wt gain.
