Physical therapy: Straightening of the cervical spine is usually related to muscle spasm. In and of itself it's not a bad thing. However there could be an underlying reason for you to have this type of next spasms. I would recommend seeing your specialist in starting formal physical therapy.

Symptoms?: It depends on your symptoms. If you have none, there is no reason for any treatment. If you are having symptoms, so a neurosurgeon after a MRI for further evaluation.
