RICE: Simple things like rest, ice packs, compression wraps and elevation are helpful in the immediate setting. If this does not help, it may we helpful to see a podiatrist or foot and ankle orthopedist who can get xrays to ensure there are no breaks and properly immobilize you in an ankle brace or boot. You may want to consider flat shoes in the future.

Evaluation: High heels add additional leverage to the injury, increasing the likelihood of a break. If you have a lot of swelling and bruising, get it checked.

Many possibilities: Rest, ice compression, elevation. Treatment depends on the location and severity of the injury. A thorough history and physical exam and radiology exams would be needed. Have it evaluated by a professional to get the appropriate treatment.
