Brace : As long as there is no ligament tear( checked by a doctor) and if it is sprain, the discomfort and angular ion should get better. Key is that there should be no apparent or hidden injury, as that might need more treatment than just a brace n rest with ice pak application.

You should see a : Doctor. The position of your foot may be the way you are compensating. The ankle sprain should be treated and you should be in some form of brace. See a doctor before you inadvertently make the problem worse.
