Blebs and pleurisy?: I don't think i can give you a straight answer without more information. What were the resections for? Do you mean you had recurrent pneumothorax? And the pleurisy, was any pleural fluid drained? Beside what you mentioned any other medical problems? Without these data it would be impossible to give you a meaningful answer.

Not enough data: Unfortunately, i need more information. What were the lung resections for? As for the blebs, have you had recurrent pneumothorax? The pleurisy, was there any documented infection in the pleural space or just fluid? Without that information, any advice would be very speculative.
