Hallucination?: If you're hearing a voice or voices speaking to you but no one else is around, this could be auditory hallucinations -- and these need to be evaluated. You say your doctor isn't taking you seriously. Maybe s/he doesn't understand what's happening? It may be a good idea to consult a psychiatrist, and review these experiences in more detail. Once understood, treatment of this problem is possible.
