This can lead to a variety of issues in the lungs - infection - inflammation and scarring - pulmonary hypertension - airway constriction- some of which is not be reversible. Significant dysfunction and death are not uncommon. Don't forget about risks of hepatitis b and c and hiv. Injecting illicit medications is a very bad idea.
