Not known effect : Using meth can have many effects on the body, but it is not known to be associated with cysts on the lungs. Certainly, other substances combined with meth or used in the manufacture of the drug such as ammonia and red phosphorus can cause poor dentition as well as lung damage if they are toxic.

Not known to cause: It is not known to cause cysts in the lungs but it has toxic effect on the lungs and can cause tissue changes and may be associated with destructive changes and free radical formation in the lungs which can cause tissue mutation and tumor growth as well as was shown in a research study at university of montana in 2008.
