Recognition & PT: Early recognition & supportive physical therapy are the standard for treating developmental delays.Therapy can work to suppress abnormal primitive reflexes that impairs progress & help the kid reach milestones.Regular reassessment & goal planning are part of this process.

1) Search for the : cause of the delay, based on prenatal, perinatal & post-natal history, physical & neurological exams with lab studies & neuroimaging as indicated. 2) Early Intervention Program assessment of all developmental streams 3) Define age level & describe quality of fine & gross motor skills. 4) Occupational therapy for impairments in muscle use in upper half of body, Physical Therapy for the lower half
