Swelling, redness: You can google photos (images) for inflammatory breast cancer. There is not 1 picture. This is a hard diagnosis to make because there is not a mass. There is often redness, swelling, orange peel like changes. It is often confused with an infection. If you think anything is abnormal, see your doctor.

Many variations: Here is a less obvious case. Pain is common in ibc. The pain can be very severe, even if the skin is only mildly pink. I have seen breasts that are very red and dimpled, or very bruised-looking, or only mildly pink. Sometimes the nipple can look white. Sometimes there is no skin change right away. What's common is pain and the woman's sense that something is wrong. I take that very seriously!
