How much swelling after teeth pulled for dentures?

Varies: This depends on the number and difficulty with which the teeth needed to be extracted. Bone fragments coming out of the gums will be common as well and are to be expected.

3-4 days: Having teeth removed and then dentures placed is a pretty traumatic process. If you placed ice on your face right after the extractions, then the swelling should peak at 48 hours then start to subside. Size of the swelling depends on how many teeth extracted. If the dental drill was needed recovery is longer and there is more swelling.

Mild: Often you can have mild to sometimes moderate swelling after the teeth are removed. It really depends on how good your post surgical care is and if the procedure went smoothly.

Depends: Depends on how difficult an extraction it is and whether the tooth is infected or not.
