Bruised Ligament: A tooth ligament also know as the pdl (periodontal ligament) can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to heal, much like any other bruise. Be sure not to any heavy biting or chewing on the bruised area. Make sure whatever bruised the ligament has been removed or adjusted.
