No.: The CBC or complete blood count is not a test for cancer. Certain cancers of the blood, like leukemias, can be detected by elevations in the number and type of white blood cells (wbc), but the CBC is not considered a screening test for any other cancers.

No: No. The CBC doesn't really have any relationship to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. There are some blood tests that help such as the ca 19-9 level but the main ways to diagnose pancreatic cancer are radiologic a ct scan or an endoscopic ultrasound. It is a silent disease though and tough to diagnose.
