Cratered acne: Ice-pick scars from acne require deep skin treatment as provided by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Laser treatment may help. There are no topical creams or ablatives that will help. These procedures will lessen the appearance but not remove the scars. If you are a keloid former the treatments are less impressive.

Epiduo not for scars: Epiduo does not treat existing scars nor does finacea, they are good to minimize or prevent active acne lesions which may produce scars at a later date. Silicone gels, antioxidants, sunblock, tobacco avoidance, skin bleaching agents, dermabrasion, fillers, laser treatment, ipl, chemical peels, and many other interventions may help reduce scarring.
