Maybe: That's a question that you have to answer for yourself. If the problem is giving you lifestyle altering problems, then have it done! it will never get better on it's own, and if it's that great of a problem at 33 years old... Maybe you should. See a podiatrist for options.

Yes: If you have pain and if you feel they are somehow causing you to trip. Though, i would be interested in knowing more about your tripping. I fail to see how an overlapping pinky toe can cause one to trip. If your in my neighborhood you can stop in for an evaluation.
