Doctor can evaluate: If one is worried about being too thin (too skinny), a primary care doctor is the one to see first. A full check-up, with additional attention to any possible causes of thinness, will be helpful. Some people are naturally thin (which is fine), but others have problems absorbing nutrients (such as in celiac disease), or have hormonal imbalances (such as in hyperthyroidism).

People vary: The best way to tell whether you're at your healthy weight is by your ability to do athletics. With your numbers, you match elite sprinters and other track-and-field athletes. If you're fit and can play some weekend sports well enough, you're fine. If not -- get evaluated. Men who are light but healthy at your age tend to live longer then their burly counterparts.
