Can a birth injury such as shoulder displasia, which was not x-rayed, be detremined at a later date to have caused a broken clavicle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Word confusion: Shoulder dysplasia is a term that describes a shoulder that didn't form right.Shoulder dystocia describes difficulty getting the shoulder to come out after the head is out during delivery. The clavicle is the most often broken bone in the body & can crack with or without recognized difficulty at delivery. It may take a day or so for swelling & lack of use to be recognized & DX made.
