Probably not: Rule in medicine - common things are common, rare things are rare. Als is rare. It doesn't mean you don't have it, but the likelihood is really low. Differential diagnosis includes reflux disease, post nasal drip, anxiety disorder, globus sensation. Stay with it - your doctor should be able to help figure this out.
