Improve vision: An eyelid lift can be done for cosmetic or medical reasons. For the latter, usually this is either needed because skin is blocking the vision or weighing down the eyelid. Sometimes this is a problem with the muscle that lifts the eye, so a ptosis repair needs to be done as well.
