Improve your vision: If the skin excess and brow drooping blocks your upper vision this can be improved with surgery. Some patients have droopy eyelids called ptosis. This will effect your upper vision even more and can be corrected with surgery.

Improve vision: An eyelid lift can be done for cosmetic or medical reasons. For the latter, usually this is either needed because skin is blocking the vision or weighing down the eyelid. Sometimes this is a problem with the muscle that lifts the eye, so a ptosis repair needs to be done as well.
