Get a proper Dx 1st: If you had a strep test done & your problems persist after treatment, you may have an additional issue to consider. Mononucleosis will often present with a sore throat & swollen glands & a throat swab may find strep. Strep may be part of the problem or may have just been an incidental finding.Some people carry strep without getting sick. A recheck with some testing may help find your answer.
