Usually 1-2 days: If the infection is an uncomplicated strep throat and you are on appropriate antibiotcs, 24-48 hours from initiation of the medication.

Strep throat: Recovery from strep depends on whether or not you receive antibiotic treatment. Usually, 7-10 days is all it takes to start feeling better although it is not uncommon to take 2 weeks or longer to feel totally back to normal.
