Clindamyon?: Not familiar with that drug. Clindamycin is an antibiotic prescribed for throat infections. Like all medicines, take it as prescribed and under the direction of a physician.

Get a proper Dx 1st: About 60% of sore throats are viral & require no meds. If you take old meds every time you feel ill, you increase the creation of superbugs in our world with minimal benefit to you. Strep can be verified with a quick test & treatment with penicillin is 100% effective. Clindamycin is rarely if ever indicated for strep infections due to its side effects and the availability of less toxic meds.
