When t3 (liothyronine) & t4 test results are within normal range and stable for past 3 years; can a photoechoic nodule be cancerous?

Unlikely: The nodule has a 5% chance of cancer (low risk). The function of the thyroid is typically a different issue apart from the cancer risk. The only way the risk would be lowered is if the TSH drops and workup revealed the the nodule is a "hot" nodule.
