See your MD or derm: Itch can be caused by many things. Most commonly is due to problems with skin itself. Dry skin is the most common one. Other condition such as dermatitis - to different agents- soap, parfume, detergen, clothing material etc is very common too. Sure, systemic disease like cancer and autoimmune can have skin manifestation too- but it is not common . Remember common things happen commonly.

Very unlikely: Though itching can occur with hodgkin's, there are many more likely causes starting with simple dry skin frequently seen when the weather gets cold and heat comes on. You should consult your md or an allergist or dermatologist who can check for the cause and also treat the itch. In almost all cases the itching easily treatable and due to a benign cause.
