Not necessarily: Remeron (mirtazapine) would not exacerbate hepatitis c. However Remeron (mirtazapine) is extensively metabolized by the liver, and caution must be used in prescribing Remeron (mirtazapine) to an individual with significant hepatic impairment. Make sure the prescribing physician is aware of your liver status.
