Is it okay for a baby with right eye infection to travel by plane?

Yes: As long as the diagnosis has been made, appropriate therapy started, and follow up scheduled. It should be ok to travel by plane if it is not a highly contagious infection (e.g. Gonococcus, chlamydia, etc.).

Ok: Plane travel should be safe with an eye infection, however, if there is an associated sinus infection the pressure changes could prove painful.
